Bad cops in Iron City Tennessee

This is an article to let everyone know what is going on in the tiny town of Iron City Tennessee where I live. A few months ago the town council voted that we needed some police after at least 20 years with out any at all. Now we are all living in fear of our freedoms and the rights given to us by this great country we live in.

First a little back ground on our town. They have never liked cops here. The last few were ran out of town by the criminals we use to be so famous for. To see what I mean check out the movie Iron City Blues. Now we are a more upstanding community and all the bad people have been ran out or are in jail. We were happy to get police in the town after so many years. We would be happy now if we had decent law abiding police here instead of Barney Phife and friends.

Now on to why we are happy no longer. The first thing is the police cheif. He was fired from his last job for sexual relations with a 15 year old, stealing steaks from a local grocery store, and speeding 100 mph in his personal vehicle. He has voted him self a raise and taken over the city manager job by bullying the one we had before he came on to the scene. Add to this that one (his brother in law) has been suspended for 2 weeks for sexual comments to a girl that he pulled over. We have been stalked (me included) by them. I have been followed, a uturn on the bridge done to follow me, pulled over for them to talk to me (no speeding, running of a stop sign or an other violation that merits this at all) They have about ran over me and sprayed gravel all over another woman leaving a parking lot at a gas station to try to catch a speeder. They have walked into a plant with guns drawn full of innocent people to try to catch a man with out a drivers license for speeding, Blocked a road so those people cant leave work because they were ran off the private property where they were running radar, if you have an out of state tag do not come here or you will leave with a ticket. 95% of the people gettng tickets have Alabama tags. They have been caught racing with out lights on in the dark up the main road in town, they have been caught out of city limits by 60 miles to go fishing on town time, they have been caught running lights to pass people to get back into town and then shut them off and park the car, they have been caught listening into peoples phone calls for no reason (just because they can). The list goes on and on. No one will take us seriously. I have talked to the town manager and he says "It will just take me some time to take care of it."

Now we have waited some time for something to be done. Us law abiding citizens want action. We are deciding what the next step will be. I my self do not like being harassed. I feel like I have been violated by the system set in place in Iron City Tennessee. I have been followed taking kids to Vacation Bible school, Pulled over for no reason (not even in the city limits), My car almost hit and me slammed into a gas pump for him to catch a speeder (whom he did not run radar on at all and got away from him). I truly feel sorry for the people not from here that get tickets for what ever for just driving thru. this had become a speed trap, and a very unpleasant place to live. If any one out there has any idea what to do let me know. If you would pass this on and get the word out not to come to Iron City and not do business here we will all be better off in the long run.
